Hand Expression

Hand expression is a great way to get milk from your breasts.  If your breasts are engorged, if your baby is not transferring milk well, if your baby doesn't latch, hand expression can help you get the milk you need.  In the colostral phase it is difficult to pump milk from the breast, but hand expression works.
